Position
The spider plant is considered one of the most adaptable houseplants as it can grow in a wide range of conditions. Prefers bright, indirect light with the temperature from tropical to cold (preferably cold).
Watering
Prefer moist but never wet soil, can tolerate dry conditions. Therefore water them well but don’t allow them to become soggy, which can result in root rot.
Feeding

Controlled-release fertilizer is recommended

Repotting
Since spider plants prefer a semi-potbound environment, repot them only when their large, fleshy roots are highly visible and watering is difficult. Spider plants can be easily propagated as well through the division of the mother plant or by planting the small spiderettes.
Pet-friendliness
This air-cleaning plant is listed as non-toxic for dogs, cats and other pets by ASPCA. Nonetheless, it is still advised that cats eating spider plant leaves may pose a potential risk.
