Cyperus requires a constant moisture at the roots and cannot be over watered. The plant can be placed on a saucer filled with water to avoid the soil drying out during summer.
Cyperus umbrella plants are best suited to a moist, warm and bright outdoor environment, but are adaptable to the home environment. Make sure to keep in bright, direct light position indoor (ideally besides the North-facing window). However, the plant should be protected from hot afternoon sunlight.
