Juncus effusus 'Spiralis' requires constant moisture at the roots and cannot be overwatered. The plant can be placed on a saucer filled with water to avoid the soil drying out during summer.
Juncus effusus 'Spiralis' plants are best suited to a moist, warm and bright outdoor environment, but are adaptable to the home environment. Make sure to keep in bright direct light position indoor (ideally besides North facing window). However, the plant should be protected from hot afternoon sunlight.
