DESCRIPTION
A graceful palm featuring a cluster of stems, out of which shoot luscious dark green fronds. Parlour Palm requires very little attention and make a great addition to any home or office.
POSITION
Provide Parlour palms with indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and cause rapid moisture loss. Locations that receive bright but indirect sunlight for at least half the day are preferred.
TEMPERATURE
Maintain a temperature above 15oC, and preferably between 21 and 27 degrees, at all times. Select locations away from air conditioner vents or drafts because cooler air can damage the palm.
WATER
Water parlour palms one to two times a week, or when the soil surface begins to dry but before the soil feels dry beneath the surface. These palms require soil that remains evenly moist with no drying around the root system.
NUTRIENTS
Parlour Palm will grow to the size of the container it grows in. If you want the plant to continue to grow, pot it up and give it a feed of general fertilizer prior to the warmer months to help maximize growth.
SIZE
Maximum 2m height and 2m spread.
PET FRIENDLINESS
This plant is non-toxic for your pets.
