Position
Alocasia plants are best grown in part shade, filtered sun, or bright indirect light. Preferably indoors, keep them in warm positions, away from drafty areas.
Water
Prefers moist, rich, well-drained soils in high humidity locations. Ensure the top 2-4cm of the soil to dry out before watering again. Less water during colder months.
Temperature
Needs to be kept warm, ideally between 18-22°C.
Humidity
Needs a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Pop it in the shower for a while to give it an occasional boost.
Fertiliser
A diluted liquid fertilizer (mixed with water when watering) can be used once a month during warmer months.
Pet Friendliness
Will cause vomiting upon consumption. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
